Engagement Opportunities

Information Sessions

Provide targeted information to students about your organization, job opportunities, career paths, and steps to apply. Our students love creative and engaging topics! Rensselaer offers on-site facilities to host these events, but virtual sessions are always welcome. For instructions on how to request an event at RPI, please visit Handshake’s Help Article on the subject.

Industry Panels

Interact with students on campus by providing industry insight as a panelist, moderator, or lecturer in your industry of expertise.

Post an Opportunity on Handshake

If you're an employer searching for student talent, we encourage you to post opportunities on Handshake, our career management platform. Please e-mail Julianna Manning at mannij5@rpi.edu for further instructions.

On-Campus Interviewing

Each semester, the CCPD invites employers to reserve booths in our interview suite to conduct 1:1 in-person interviews for full-time, internship, and co-op positions. Booth requests must be made at least 3 weeks in advance and submitted via Handshake. If you have questions, please contact Nicole Doran, Assistant Director for Employer Relations, at stongn@rpi.edu

Employer Sponsorships

These events are just a sampling of ways to raise brand awareness on-campus; learn more about our sponsorship opportunities to increase your marketing, offer sponsor-exclusive events, and continue to build student relationships.

Spring Career Fair

The CCPD hosts a Spring Career Fair annually in February, with registration for employers opening in late fall. Please connect with the RPI CCPD via Handshake to stay up to date on upcoming career fair dates and registration information.

Career Development Workshops

Offer career-related events at Rensselaer on a topic of your choosing to engage and interact with students while building corporate awareness. The goal is to navigate students through a series of career development workshops to identify talent early, build a pipeline of candidates, and make informed hiring decisions.
