The Center for Career and Professional Development (CCPD) is excited to extend an invitation to all students who are passionate about making a positive impact in our community. On Thursday, April 3, 2025, beginning at 4:30 PM, the CCPD and participating students will be volunteering with Sidewalk Warriors in Troy, New York. About Sidewalk Warriors:
Mission Statement: Sidewalk Warriors is an organization dedicated to serving individuals in our community who are facing food insecurity, homelessness, and mental illness. Every Thursday night, regardless of the weather, Sidewalk Warriors distributes hot meals, cleaning products, hygiene essentials, and much more to over 120 children, families, and adults in need.
Volunteer Opportunity Details: Join the CCPD in fulfilling the mission of Sidewalk Warriors by volunteering your time and energy to support those who need it most. As a volunteer, you will have the opportunity to make a direct and meaningful impact on the lives of individuals in our community. Whether it is distribution of meals, organizing supplies, or offering a kind word, your contribution will be valued and appreciated.

Students should meet at the United Methodist Church, 35 State Street, Troy, NY 12180, which is walking distance from the campus. Transportation will not be provided by the CCPD.
