I was introduced to career services as a first-year student at SUNY New Paltz. After graduating with a Bachelor's in Communications and a Master's in Humanistic/Multicultural Education, I worked in domestic violence prevention and later returned to my alma mater as a career counselor. The biggest professional lesson I've learned is that your major doesn't always dictate your career, but it can serve as a great building block to where you want to be! I love being a part of helping RPI students connect with their dream jobs, whether that is through a career fair, info session, or a quick coffee chat with an employer. When I'm not working, I can usually be found reading or playing a board game with my wife (accompanied by our cats)!
