Co-op
A co-op is a full-time, paid experience related to a student’s major/field of study that lasts a minimum of six months and upwards of eight months.
Intern
An intern works at a company or organization for a fixed period of time, usually three to six months. Some students will have a part-time internship working at the office for just a few days or hours per week. Others will have full-time internships, meaning they work the same hours as the company's full-time employees.

Requirements
- Students must be supervised by an individual knowledgeable in the field, and that cannot be a family member.
- Students must satisfactorily complete a mandatory LMS course during their semester-away experience.
- Co-ops have a minimum of 520 hours per term required to fulfill this experience.
- Internships have a minimum of 260 hours required to fulfill this experience.
